Every item you send internationally must have an item declaration, or commercial invoice, associated with it. When building a shipment, if you enter an international address, you'll be prompted automatically to complete this form. Your recipient is ultimately responsible for any customs-related taxes and duties that are levied against your shipment.
- Complete the items declaration or commercial invoice accurately and honestly.
- Enter the correct value of your items. Under- or over-valuing your items may result in unnecessary taxes and duties being owed.
- Create a new items declaration form for different items.
- The value stated on the declaration should be for each item, not the total shipment.
